This page explains how users of the FloodGuard by Jenix app (developer: Jenix Technology) can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to jenixindia@gmail.com with the subject "FloodGuard account deletion request".
- Include your Login ID, your full name and the organisation that issued your account.
- Send the email from the address registered with your organisation, or ask your organisation's FloodGuard administrator to confirm the request.
- We verify the request and confirm by email once the account is deleted — within 30 days.
Your organisation's FloodGuard administrator can also deactivate your account immediately from the Users section of the app while the deletion request is processed.
Data that is deleted
- Account details — login ID, name, role and password hash
- Push notification (FCM) tokens and active login sessions
- Location assignments linked to your account
Data that may be retained
- Audit logs of operational actions (e.g. alarm mute, configuration changes) — kept for up to 365 days for safety and compliance, then deleted
- Sensor telemetry from flood monitoring devices is not personal data and belongs to the operating organisation; it is kept for up to 90 days in detailed form
